While I'm focusing on my health this year (rather than letting my needs fall by the wayside), I've been daily and nearly obsessively weighing myself. While our traditional scale is of course useful in this regard, I recently bought a Withings Body which has made tracking my progress even easier. I typically weigh and measure myself (to give me an idea of muscle vs fat without pinchers or the doctor) often, the Body Scale has made all of that moot! Rather than having to whip out the tape measure, I can easily just take a look at the percentage of fat fall and the muscle percentage rise. It's of course disheartening to see my weight stay the same a few times a week (I definitely have a frown on at the start of those days), but being able to see the difference of these two key metric in the Health Mate App, has easily skewed those frowns into a positive outlook. I know the scale is rather pricey for a scale, but I have to say it's one of my favorite purchases in a long time, and because I use it every day, it's cost per use is quickly going down.Outside of tracking all of my stats and bumping up my confidence at each weigh in, it also tracks Sam separately in his copy of the app AND tells you the weather, so you're stoked and prepared for the day!
