Meet the Catahoula Hotel and Bar. This super cute 35 room boutique hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans, is a 2016 newbie, and a sweet hideaway from the chaos and sultriness of NOLA. Their bar specializes in delicious Pisco drinks, with bites for snacking and great morning coffee.After a bit of room drama (with no fault to the phenomenal desk staff), we ended up in room #19, The Master Bedroom, a huge, balcony-ed, 400 sq ft space, complete with comfy couch and two TVs. Dreamy right?While the space was a beaut, the bed (a Casper 'natch), as super soft and comfy and the twin rainfall shower heads did a body good after nights of drinking around the city.The hotel is *just* far enough from the craziness of Bourbon street, but a close enough walk that you feel healthy but not tired. It was a perfect home base for a quick trip to the Big Easy.
