Iced Tea on a hot day is a dream!
A perfect BLT
On a recent trip to New Orleans, we made a stop at Cochon Butcher, while wandering down into the part of New Orleans that looks like Brooklyn. While everything on the menu looked and smelled amazing, I was a bit hung over, and a bit full from breakfast but managed to have one of the greatest BLTs. While the BLT is a simple sandwich, the Cochon Butcher version was perfection. Lightly mayo'd, the lettuce was a peppery arugula with a slight tang of vinegar, all with thick butcher bacon on perfectly toasted bread. I washed it down with a much needed Iced Tea on a hot day, and I haven't been so pleased with simplicity since. Highly recommended!
